Will.i.am, yang memproduksi album debut Bieber, My World, menyarankan penyanyi berusia 17 tahun itu dapat memproduksi albumnya yang selanjutnya untuk menjamin keberhasilannya dalam jangka panjang.
"Saya ingin Justin dapat membuat dan memproduksi lagu-lagunya sendiri. Sebagai seorang seniman, ia harus berjuang melakukan itu," katanya.
Will.i.am lantas merujuk kepada sosok Michael Jackson yang meraih kariernya begitu cemerlang karena ia bekerja keras sehingga dapat bertahan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang.

Pamatung kontroversial itu menciptakan patung tersebut dengan menggunakan bahan dasar logam perunggu. Replika Justin dan Selena benar-benar digambarkan tanpa sehelai benang pun menutupi tubuh. Hanya selembar daun Maple Kanada dan Bintang Texas yang menutupi bagian kemaluan.
Diberi judul 'Justin and Selena as One' (Justin dan Selena adalah Satu) patung itu dipersembahkan bagi pelantun Never Say Never dan wanita 19 tahun itu sebagai Adam dan Hawa abad 21. Demikian dilansir Aceshowbiz, Rabu (10/8/2011).
Patung berwarna kecokelatan itu akan diluncurkan di Dallas di acara 'Dallas' New Fine Arts'. Sang pematung, Daniel, dalam siaran pers menyatakan, patung itu mewakili potret keduanya (mewakili daerah asal Justin dan Selena), yakni Kanada dan Texas-Amerika.
"Justin dan Selena bergabung bersama, melambangkan keharmonisan besar antara negara-negara tetangga Kanada dan Amerika Serikat. Negara-negara seperti Korea Utara dan Korea Selatan bisa belajar dari contoh kita. Akan lebih baik untuk menunjukkan potret ini di daerah dunia manapun yang tengah dilanda ketegangan tinggi," timpal juru bicara Cory Allen.
Daniel dikenal sebagai pematung kontroversial karena karya-karya yang diciptakannya. Sebut saja, patung Britney Spears melahirkan, Hillary Clinton yang bugil, kotoran Suri Cruise dan bagian dalam Paris Hilton.
Justin dan Selena bukan pasangan selebriti pertama yang telah diukirnya. Pada 2009, dia membuat patung Brad Pitt dan Angelina Jolie dalam pelukan sang pecinta berjudul 'Brangelina'.

Sebuah buku non fiksi terbaru akan digunakan untuk menelaah keyakinan kristiani bintang pop remaja Justin Bieber yang ditunjukan kala ia diwawancara dan ketika berbicara kepada para penggemarnya.
Seperti dikutip dari Reuters, buku itu diberi judul "Belieber! Faith, Fame and the Heart of Justin Bieber," akan diluncurkan pada 27 September oleh penerbit buku Kristiani Wirthy Publishing.
Buku itu ditulis oleh seorang Jurnalis Amerika Cathleen Falsani, yang sering meliput topik religius selama beberapa tahun dan telah menwawancarai tokoh terkenal mulai dari Vokalis band U2, Bono hingga Presiden AS Barack Obama ketika ia masih menjabat sebagai senator di negara bagian Illinois.
Kesasih Selena Gomez itu, dikabarkan tak akan diwawancarai untuk buku itu.

Teenage star Demi Lovato has urged young fans to avoid drinking to excess, declaring: "Sober is sexy!"
The singer/actress is speaking out about addiction after entering rehab last year (10) to tackle her self-harming and eating disorder issues.
The 18 year old insists she's "made a commitment" to be healthy and wants her devotees to follow her example by saying no to drugs and alcohol.
In a column for Seventeen magazine, she writes, "'Sober Is Sexy' is my new motto, and it couldn't be more true! All you need to have fun in life is a great attitude and good friends. I've made a commitment to myself to live a happy healthy life the best way I know how and I want to spread the message that you don't need to do drink or do drugs to have fun.
"I think a lot of people our age start off experimenting with drugs and alcohol as innocent fun, out of curiosity, or because their friends are doing it. Often times this 'innocent fun' can lead to very serious issues like drunk driving, bad choices and in some cases - addiction. Addiction is a very serious disease, and it doesn't just go away.
"I've suffered from an eating disorder which is an addiction, and I will have to work on my recovery every day for the rest of my life. It's an ongoing battle but one that is well worth it, and I've never felt happier...
"Remember: Sober Is Sexy! Trust me, you look a lot cuter Sober than Sloppy! Stay Strong!"

Demi Lovato opens up about Joe Jonas and rehab
Former “Sonny With A Chance” star Demi Lovato opens up about her problems with violence, cutting herself, eating disorders and bipolar disorder in the latest issue of Elle Magazine. After getting out of rehab, she is now ready to talk openly about her problems and how her romantic relationship with Joe Jonas contributed to her fall.Demi Lovato has been romantically linked to Joe Jonas until May 2010. A few months after, when Joe was already in another relationship, she attacked a member of the dance crew of the Jonas Brothers. The incident led to committing her in a facility for rehab. This was the last incident in her life, but not the first. Back in 2008, Demi appeared on the red carpet at Miley Cirus’s birthday party with noticeable signs on her wrists. The media speculated it was from self injuring, but her publicist at the time said that it was false and that the Disney star had those marks from some gummy bracelets. Now, six months after leaving the rehab facility, Demi says that she was not ready to talk about her real problems at the time. “I don't think I would have been ready to talk about [my problems] then, but I could've come up with something better than gummy bracelets”, she told the magazine and added that the publicist was fired soon after. “Needless to say, that publicist is no longer with us ... I mean, she's alive”.
When talking about the impact that the split from Joe Jonas had on her life, she says that it had little to do with her problems. “I wouldn't credit my meltdown to a guy”, she says about her ex who was dating “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene at the time. “There was so much other stuff in my life.” But the actress-singer admits that they had no contact since she went into rehab.
Demi Lovato’s career is getting back on track. Her latest single, “Skyscraper”, a depiction of the troubled times she has had lately, already topped the iTunes chart.

Hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch, the ceremony will honor and celebrate the nation’s best young world-changers who represent the pivotal “do-ers” in their field, cause or issue. Celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, David Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Russell Brand and Will Ferrell have been nominated in a variety of categories from ‘Do Something Movie Star’ to ‘Do Something Couple’ for all they have done to inspire young people. Many will be on hand to accept and present the awards at the show which will air Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 9:00pm EST on VH1.

Her fans played a big part in making this performance happen by enthusiastically tweeting the word “Skyscraper” to @DoSomething multiple times over the last month. Lovato is also nominated for two awards in the Do Something Charity Song and Do Something TV Star categories.

In addition to honoring celebrities for their work to inspire others, and a night filled with great musical performances, one young “do-er” (age 25 and under) will receive a grand prize of $100,000 for their cause. This is the largest and most prestigious prize in the world for young people and social change.
The five nominees this year have all gone above and beyond to make a difference in their communities and will be rewarded with a community grant and continued support from DoSomething.org. Nominees include Taryn Guerrero Davis for The American Widow Project, David Schwartz for The Real Food Challenge, Sarah Cronk for The Sparkle Effect, Mark Kabban for YALLA (Youth And Leaders Living Actively) and Adam Lowy for Move for Hunger.
Since 2007, the Do Something Awards have continued their mission of inspiring, supporting and celebrating a generation of doers. Last year marked the first time the show aired live from Los Angeles on VH1 (it was previously featured in the 2008-2009 Teen Choice Awards).
